Last Wednesday our very own tooth fairy Dental Nurse Leanne visited Plumpton school to educate the children on oral health. With lots of fun and exciting games for the kids to join in with Leanne makes learning fun. Great work Leanne
During lockdown the 'Ghyllmount Gardeners' were busy nurturing and growing sunflowers. Most of them flowered and looked bright and cheerful for us all to enjoy.
Needless to say one member of the team (naming no names - John Lewis!) had to 'out grow' the rest of us with Dave,his sunflower. However we feel he had an unfair advantage by growing it in his conservatory instead of outside like the rest of us.
Many thanks to Leanne for providing all the sunflowers for us to grow and enjoy.
Little update regarding children's treatments at Ghyllmount. We are pleased to say that we have now worked through our wait list and as far as we are aware we have completed or booked appointments for all outstanding treatment. However if you have been expecting an appointment and you have not heard from us please get in touch.

We are now displaying our QR code on the front door which you can scan with the NHS COVID-19 app. Help us stop the spread of Coronavirus.
This code works alongside the test and trace process, this will allow you to be alerted if you have been in contact with anyone who has confirmed Coronavirus.
We are also re-introducing temperature checks this week due to the increased alert level, here we have lovely receptionist Eddie modelling our temperature checker.

As part of our re-brand, we are excited to unveil our wall of fame and new awards banner.
We are very excited to welcome Dr Chris Rutter to the team at Ghyllmount where he will be offering a wide range of teeth straightening systems from September.

Chris qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2008 and returned to his native North East where he completed his initial training with our very own Dr Andy Ratsey!
He offers a pragmatic friendly opinion and a wide range of options to address any concerns you may have and performs a range of aesthetic procedures to help you achieve a healthy smile.
The main scope of Chris' practice is providing smile design along with tooth alignment and minimally invasive dentistry. Chris provides teeth straightening with the Invisalign, ClearCorrect, Inman, ClearSmile and Quick Straight Teeth systems where he has been recognised as a brand ambassador for his work.
Outside of work Chris is a father to two children and a long suffering Sunderland AFC fan.

Well done to our very own 'tooth fairy' Leanne for setting up her new youtube channel showcasing her oral hygiene videos for kids. Leanne spent a lot of time during lockdown putting together and sharing these fun videos and activities for children.
We would like to give a very warm welcome to our two new Apprentice nurses Shanelle and Charlotte. They joined the team this week and we are very excited to have them here. We think you will both fit in perfectly
