Dr Megan McCann understands how overwhelming a trip to the dentist can feel. That’s why she’s dedicated her career to providing calm, compassionate care through IV sedation. With over eight years of experience in general practice and postgraduate training in sedation dentistry, Megan supports anxious patients, those with dental phobia, and individuals undergoing more complex treatments such as implant surgery.

Her mobile IV sedation service makes high-quality care accessible across the North of England, whether in partnership with your own dentist or at her regular sedation clinic in Penrith. She also collaborates closely with trusted colleagues in implant dentistry, ensuring a seamless, team-based approach to care.

Megan is an accredited sedation mentor, supporting and assessing other professionals training in this field. She is currently expanding her skills into medical acupuncture and hypnosis, offering a more holistic approach for those seeking to feel calm, in control, and empowered during treatment. She takes the time to listen, explain each step, and make every patient feel respected and safe.

Sedation is also offered by Neil Sampson for implant treatment and Ravi Manemi for oral surgery, giving patients even more options for comfortable care.

Outside the clinic, Megan enjoys cooking for family and adventuring in the campervan with her husband, stepdaughter, and three dogs.
