Hello and welcome to the first Ghyllmount blog.
My name is Karon Kirkland and I am the business manager at Ghyllmount. As we launch our new website, we also launch our first ever blog. Over time we hope to have different author’s and get different team members involved with our blogging journey.
This will be the source of all news and updates about our practice and dentistry. Please feel free to get in touch with any suggestions for topics you would like us to cover or questions you may have about the practice or dentistry. We would love to hear from you.

At Ghyllmount Dental we are pleased to offer both general family dentistry as well as the more complicated and advanced treatments, in fact there are few dental services that we do not offer at Ghyllmount.

Our New West Wing
The last few months have been really exciting for us. In September 2024 we opened the ‘west wing’ – our new extension. The extra space made room for 2 new surgeries, a new administration/telephone suite and treatment coordinator (TCO ) room. We now have more parking spaces too!
This has enabled us to grow the team, offering more appointments for our patients, allowing us to reduce the waiting times for those appointments.
A Brand New Website
We are delighted to launch our brand-new website. It is packed full of information and advice, which we hope you will find useful and easy to navigate. You will find out about all the services we offer and about the team behind those services. We would love to hear what you think of it.
Special thanks must go to the team at Rose & Co. who have designed and put together our new website. They really took the time to get to know us and who we are and they have reflected this very well throughout the site.
The team were a delight to work with. Andy and Catilyn showed great patience with us as we tweaked and changed things together to get the end result we were both pleased with. Nothing was too much trouble, and they offered honest and sound feedback if they didn’t always agree with our suggestions. (They were of course always right!)
